ClearSafe Property Services ("ClearSafe", "we", "us", "our") is a property maintenance business operating in Castlemaine and the Mount Alexander Shire, Victoria, Australia. These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotes, bookings, and services provided by ClearSafe.
By requesting a quote, booking a service, or engaging ClearSafe in any way, you ("the customer", "you") agree to these Terms.
Quotes are provided based on information supplied by the customer (including photos, property descriptions, or details submitted via forms) and are estimates only, unless confirmed as fixed in writing.
Final pricing may vary if the actual scope of work differs materially from what was described or shown at the time of quoting (for example, undisclosed access issues, additional debris volume, or hazards not visible at the time of quote).
Where pricing changes, we will notify you before proceeding with any additional work or charges.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Bookings are confirmed once a date/time is agreed between the customer and ClearSafe.
We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the agreed window. Delays may occur due to weather, prior jobs running over, or circumstances outside our control.
Customers should provide safe and reasonable access to the property for the scheduled service. If access is not available at the agreed time, a call-out fee may apply.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a call-out or cancellation fee, at our discretion, particularly where materials or time have already been committed.
ClearSafe reserves the right to reschedule a booking due to unsafe weather conditions (e.g. high winds, storms) for jobs involving ladders, roofs, or gutters. We will notify you as soon as practicable and arrange an alternative time.
Payment is due on completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g. for larger jobs or ongoing service arrangements).
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking or invoicing.
Late payment may incur reasonable follow-up costs. We reserve the right to withhold future service bookings until outstanding invoices are paid.
Services are limited to what has been quoted and agreed. Any additional work requested on the day will be quoted separately and requires customer approval before proceeding.
ClearSafe does not guarantee outcomes that depend on factors outside our control (e.g. pre-existing damage to gutters, roofing, or downpipes; underlying blockages not accessible without invasive work; regrowth rates of vegetation).
Customers are responsible for ensuring pets are secured and hazards (e.g. broken glass, unstable structures, exposed wiring) are disclosed prior to the job.
ClearSafe follows standard safe work practices, including for working at heights. We reserve the right to decline or pause work if conditions are assessed as unsafe.
ClearSafe carries public liability insurance and takes reasonable care to avoid damage to property while performing services.
We are not liable for damage arising from pre-existing faults, wear, or deterioration in gutters, roofing, downpipes, or other structures that were not caused by our work.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may take before/after photos of completed work for quoting, record-keeping, or marketing purposes. Photos will not include identifying details of the property (e.g. street address, house numbers) without your consent. Let us know if you'd prefer your job not be used for marketing.
If you're not satisfied with a completed job, please contact us within 7 days so we can assess and resolve the issue, which may include a return visit at no additional cost where the concern falls within the original scope of work.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
